ANGHEL STUDIO made its Mercedes-Benz Bucharest Fashion Week debut with Sacred Couture, a collection inspired by the symbolism of liturgical and monastic garments, presented in a special artistic performance alongside ATU Body Couture and the Madrigal – Marin Constantin National Chamber Choir.
Monumental silhouettes, oversized sleeves, and sculptural volumes contrasted with delicate, fluid fabrics. Intricate hand embroidery, including raised-relief techniques inspired by the decorative details of Brâncovenesc iconostases, transformed each piece into an encounter between spiritual heritage and the contemporary language of haute couture.
